Who We Are:

Arkansas Support Network (ASN) is a licensed disability services provider serving individuals across Arkansas, with offices in Springdale, Fort Smith, Camden, and Jonesboro.

We partner with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, schools, foundations, businesses, and families to provide effective, least-restrictive supports that help individuals with disabilities live meaningful lives in environments they and their families choose.

About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and reliable DSPs to provide hands-on support to an adult consumer in their home and community. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person-centered care.

DSPs empower individuals to live in a home of their choice, access community resources, attend school or work, and participate in activities that are meaningful to them.

About the Individual you will Support:

The individual is described as friendly, cheerful, and enjoys connecting with others through laughter and positive interactions. She benefits from consistent, patient, and engaging support staff who can build a trusting relationship with her and encourage community involvement.

She is non-verbal and primarily communicates through eye contact, facial expressions, and head nods. She requires hands-on assistance with personal care tasks, daily living activities, mobility support, and participation in community outings. She enjoys watching movies and television, shopping outings, parks, and attending community events.

The individual uses mobility supports and benefits from attentive staff who can provide safe supervision, redirection when needed, and assistance with positioning and movement. Maintaining a calm, structured environment and following safety precautions are important to her overall well-being. She responds best to positive reinforcement, gentle encouragement, and staff who actively promote engagement and independence when appropriate.

Overall, she does best with caring, attentive staff who prioritize safety, communication, and meaningful community involvement while supporting her daily needs and quality of life.
