Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Pay Range: $12.50 - $14.00/hour | Weekly Pay
Location: Huntsville, AR
Available Shifts: Friday - Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and reliable DSPs to provide hands-on support to an adult consumer in their home and community. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person-centered care.

DSPs empower individuals to live in a home of their choice, access community resources, attend school or work, and participate in activities that are meaningful to them.

About the Individual you will Support:

The individual is non-verbal and benefits from consistent, patient, and attentive support staff who can assist with communication, daily routines, and community participation. He does best in a calm, structured environment with staff who can interpret non-verbal cues, provide reassurance, and support his preferences throughout the day.

He requires assistance with personal care tasks, daily living activities, and medication support, along with supervision to ensure safety and comfort. He benefits from prompts, redirection when needed, and encouragement to participate in daily routines at his own pace.

The individual requires ongoing supervision due to health and safety needs and does best with staff who are attentive, calm, and focused on maintaining a safe environment. He enjoys familiar routines and engaging activities that support comfort and stability.

Overall, he thrives with dependable Direct Support Professionals who prioritize safety, communication support, consistency, and respectful, person-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (or 1 year relevant experience)
• 18 years or older
• Required to pass background checks and required clearances
• Flexibility to work weekend schedules
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Working Conditions:

• Work occurs in people's homes, community settings, and agency sites; may include standing, walking, and driving.
