You will assist an active adult who values family, faith, and community inclusion. They enjoy a variety of activities and are looking for a DSP to help them stay engaged in what they love, including:

• Family & Faith: Attending church and Sunday school, visiting relatives, and participating in family gatherings.
• Recreation & Dining: Going to the movies, dining at favorite local restaurants, and watching football.
• Hobbies & Community: Reading books and volunteering in the local community.

Your goal is to support their personal milestones, encourage daily independence, and safely facilitate these community outings while fully respecting their choices and preferences.

What You’ll Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Clearances: Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
• Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (essential for community outings).
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in the individual's home, community settings, and agency sites.
• Position requires standing, walking, driving, and assisting with personal care.
• May involve physical tasks, lifting, or utilizing mobility-facilitating equipment.
• May involve navigating challenging behaviors; ASN provides comprehensive, ongoing training and team support to ensure your success and safety.

Pay Range: $12.50 – $13.72/hour (Paid Weekly!)
