Support a friendly, polite, and teachable young adult who enjoys fitness, gaming, shopping, and community activities. The individual enjoys staying active, following structured routines, and participating in preferred activities both at home and in the community.

The DSP will provide support with:

• Building daily living skills and promoting independence
• Encouraging positive decision-making and appropriate social interactions
• Supporting participation in exercise, hobbies, and community outings
• Providing consistent guidance, clear expectations, and positive reinforcement
• Helping develop confidence, communication skills, and greater independence

The ideal DSP will be patient, dependable, and encouraging while providing a safe, structured environment that supports growth and meaningful community involvement.

What You’ll Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Clearances: Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
• Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (essential for community outings).
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in the individual's home, community settings, and agency sites.
• Position requires standing, walking, driving, and assisting with personal care.
• May involve physical tasks, lifting, or utilizing mobility-facilitating equipment.
• May involve navigating challenging behaviors; ASN provides comprehensive, ongoing training and team support to ensure your success and safety.

Pay Range: $14.70/hour (Paid Weekly!
