    • Primary Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:00 PM–8:00 PM| Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
    • Flexibility: Opportunities for additional fill-in and weekend shifts based on individual needs and scheduling.

    Meet the Individual You Will Support

    You will support a school-age child located in Siloam Springs, AR who benefits from patient, consistent, and encouraging support. They enjoy spending time outdoors and do best with structured routines, positive reinforcement, and a calm environment.

    The ideal DSP will provide support by:

    • Using visual schedules, reassurance, and gentle redirection to help with transitions and new situations
    • Providing close supervision to promote safety and well-being
    • Supporting emotional regulation by remaining calm and using positive strategies during moments of frustration or overwhelm
    • Assisting with seizure monitoring, medication support, and daily living skills
    • Encouraging independence while providing the level of support needed throughout the day

    A successful DSP will be attentive, compassionate, and committed to creating a supportive environment where the individual feels safe, respected, and encouraged to participate in activities they enjoy.

    The individual is an active child who enjoys being outdoors, especially walking and exploring their surroundings. They respond well to calm, supportive staff and thrive with structure, consistency, and predictable routines.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

    • Age: Must be 18 years or older
    • Education: High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience
    • Clearances: Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings
    • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (essential for community outings)
    • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed

    Working Conditions

    • Work is performed in the individual's home, community settings, and agency sites.
    • Position requires standing, walking, driving, and assisting with personal care.
    • May involve physical tasks, lifting, or utilizing mobility-facilitating equipment.
    • May involve supporting individuals with challenging behaviors. ASN provides comprehensive, ongoing training and team support to ensure your success and safety.

    Pay Range: $15.32/hour (Paid Weekly!)
