Available Shifts:

  • Primary Schedule: Monday- Friday (8am-4pm)|
      • Flexibility: Opportunities for additional fill-in and weekend shifts based on individual needs and scheduling.

      You will assist a friendly, kind, and easygoing male who values positive relationships and is highly motivated to increase his independence.

      • Daily Fishing: This is his major, consistent interest and a favorite daily activity.
      • Vocational Training: He is actively preparing to start a welding program to learn new skills.
      • Relationships & Pets: He deeply values his close, long-term friend and loves caring for his pet cat.
      • Community: He is motivated to stay active, social, and connected to his local community.

      Supports to Provide:

      • Daily Routines: Assist with personal care, household tasks (meal prep, laundry, home upkeep), and medication reminders.
      • Independence & Career: Coach him on budgeting/banking skills and support his transition into his welding program.
      • Health & Wellness: Provide transportation to appointments and support his physical therapy goals for his knee (prompting exercises and reporting progress).

      What You’ll Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

      • Age: Must be 18 years or older.
      • Education: High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
      • Clearances: Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
      • Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (essential for community outings).
      • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

        Working Conditions

        • Work is performed in the individual's home, community settings, and agency sites.
        • Position requires standing, walking, driving, and assisting with personal care.
        • May involve physical tasks, lifting, or utilizing mobility-facilitating equipment.
        • May involve navigating challenging behaviors; ASN provides comprehensive, ongoing training and team support to ensure your success and safety.

        Pay Range: $12.50 – $14.70/hour (Paid Weekly!)
